Proud cowboy
So I said 3 months ago that I really wanted to start blogging more. And....I haven't stuck to my word, but I really do because I want to capture every moment in our lives!! Facebook has been that for me, but I don't think that I can really "save" each update or post....so again...I want to start blogging more.
I think it would be go to catch up on the last three month happenings.
July-I worked night shifts so honestly it's a big blur. Aaron was a wonderful husband and played with the kiddos a lot while I slept. We were able to go camping-which was fabulous! the kiddos did great!!! And we spent some time at the Greeley Stampede. :)
Our first family camping trip!Loving the camping scene!
Everett, Capri, Kaitlynn, and Ellie
all in matching outfits from Grandma Debbie :)
August-We had a great time of course at the Akron Fair. It was great to hang out with lots of family!!!
Ready for Steamboat!
Then my immediate family took a trip to Steamboat! We went up with no Agenda. For me that was wonderful but I think my mom struggled with it a little bit. We honestly just hung out, swam in the pool, played putt putt golf, ran through a maze, and shopped. It was a beautiful place and Aaron's Uncle Frank and Aunt Sabrina let us use.
Ev jumping off of the side! NO FEAR!Putt putt golf!! So fun! Daddy and Capri won!
My sweet little girl! When we returned from our4 day trip to Steamboat we spent a day in Estes park with Aaron's parents hiking! It was GREAT! The kiddos loved it!

We started a BIG PROJECT or I should say Aaron started a BIG project to get another step closer to our dream of having a ranch! He have begun building a lean to, shed, and finishing the fence so we can get horses at our place!
Capri watching daddy, Clayton, and Grandpa Roy build.

The Lean to.....
Our home in Sterling!
Von came out and visited us August 14-16. She took some amazing family pictures of us!

August 17th I started a new job at Northeastern Junior College teaching in the nursing program! I LOVE IT! The Lord has truly blessed us me with a positive change. I know this is His will and it's a beautiful thing! I feel happier and motivated! It's great! I haven't felt that since we moved to Sterling. I work with wonderful ladies that encourage me and help me everyday. The one challenging thing for me has been being away from Everett and Capri every single day. Some days I don't struggle but a day like today when I don't feel good and neither do the little ones I feel so guilty for leaving. I would rather just snuggle up with them and cuddle all day long! They have started going to daycare as well. I haven't made up my mind yet if I like the one we have chose yet or not, but I think a lot of that is just the mommy guilt. They both seem to have benefits from going, so we'll continue on. :)
It's official! :)
